It can now be reported that Sunderland Council has ordered PPE equipment from a Chinese City that is currently carrying out a second lockdown.
The Chronicle reported that the Mayor of Harbin Mr Sun Zhe has written to the Council’s leader Graeme Miller to offer the city’s full support in Covid-19 pandemic battle. However, it has now emerged the City located in Heilongjiang province is currently experiencing a second lockdown according to an April 22nd story by Asian media company Kyoda News.
This follows an announcement by the Spanish Health Ministry stating that China allegedly sold them a whopping 50,000 Faulty Coronavirus Test Kits according to a March 27th article from the Euro Weekly News.
An SFT spokesman stated “It is no secret that Sunderland has been hit hard by the Coronavirus and we welcome any support. However we hope the PPE equipment the Chinese send us is of high quality and not faulty”.
